Celebrate the Small Things

Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly bloghop now hosted by Lexa Cain. The idea is to post anything you want to celebrate from the last week, no matter how small.

Here's what I'm celebrating this week:

- I only had to do a 4 day week at work, so that's always a bonus!

- My dad and sister are coming over tomorrow and we're going out for lunch, so that should be nice.

- Mario Kart came out on the Nintendo Switch last weekend, so I've been playing a lot of that - I don't play a lot of games, but that is one that I like.

  1. I always feel like a four day week feels really busy because you're cramming an extra day's worth of work into the week. I think I've felt it even more this week because I've had a three day week! ;-)

  2. I always think a four day week seems longer than a five day week. But as my hours aren't a regular Monday to Friday, I didn't notice the bank holiday this week - I worked it.

    Enjoy your lunch tomorrow.

  7. Yes Bank Holidays are a nice break from the norm - the weather was about typical here though - gloomy so I'm glad we made the most of the Sunday! Also wanted to say congratulations on your short story (way back in Feb) that I came across during the A-Z Challenge (via Nilanjana Bose) it was a wonderful read - no wonder you received an award :)

  9. My kids love Mario Cart. Had lunch last week with my sister who live far, far away so those family get togethers are fun
